Buttermilk Scones
Ingredients
450g self-raising flour
½ t Salt
¼ cup Caster Sugar (50g) or (60ml)
100 g butter
1 cup buttermilk or Amasi (250 m)
½ cup milk (125ml)
Cookie Cutter 2.5 inch wide (6cm)
height of Scone 2in height (2cm).
DIRECTIONS
This is the worlds easiest recipe.
Mix all of the ingredients together until just combined.
Divide into 10 equal pieces and bake for 10 to 12 mins in a pre-heated oven at 200°C with the fan on.
Enjoy these fresh with some clotted cream, a dollop of jam and earl grey tea.
