My Mother's Butterchicken
Ingredient list
500 g chicken
1 x onion (sliced)
1x tablespoon chopped ginger
2x minced garlic
1 x tablespoon olive oil
2 x teaspoons masala
1 x teaspoon chilli powder
1 x teaspoon cardamom
Half a teaspoon coriander
1 packet tomato paste
Half a teaspoon black pepper
1 x teaspoon salt
3 x tablespoon butter
2 cups chicken broth
Half a cup full cream yoghurt
Directions
Fry onion, ginger & garlic
Add masala, chilli, cardamom & coriander
Add tomato paste and chicken broth and yoghurt
Bring to a boil over medium heat
Keep at a simmer for 10-15 minutes
Add butter in sauce and stir
Cut chicken in smaller pieces
Add to the sauce
Keep on stirring and simmer for 15-20 minutes
season with salt & pepper to taste
